BoltBolt, 8-1/2 inches long, once believed to have been the summit rappel bolt from Trigger Finger at Peshastin Pinnacles in central Washington. (But it's not.) The bolt is slightly bent and the screw threads at the top are squished, suggesting that it was hammered in.DiscardedDonated by Tom Stewart to Lowell Skoog at the funeral of Fred Beckey in Leavenworth, WA on November 4, 2017. Tom recalled that he found the bolt on the ground near Trigger Finger before the spire toppled in 1978. Based on a Facebook discussion, it has been concluded that this is actually an insulator bolt from some sort of electrical line.
