Snowshoes10" wide by 56" long

Snowshoes, WWII 10th Mountain Division army design. Wood framed and stamped "U.S., C.A. Lund, Hastings, Minn." Also stamped "1942" and "10 x 56". Snowshoes have varnished rawhide webbing and leather bindings. (See binding detail.)

Archives, left of S1Snowshoes were owned by Merrill Musgrave, born 1895 in Bellingham, WA and died 1982 in Everett, WA. Donated by Kathi Knowles whose grandmother was Merrill's first cousin.
